తిరుమలలో FSSAI ల్యాబ్ ఏర్పాటుకు ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం ఒప్పందం కుదుర్చుకుంది. తిరుమ‌ల‌తో పాటు క‌ర్నూలులో రూ.40 కోట్ల‌తో స‌మ‌గ్ర ఆహార ప‌రీక్ష‌ల ప్ర‌యోగ‌శాల‌లు ఏర్పాటు చేయనుంది. ఆరోగ్య శాఖ మంత్రి స‌త్య‌కుమార్ యాద‌వ్  ఢిల్లీలో రూ.88 కోట్ల ఒప్పంద ప‌త్రాల‌పై సంత‌కాలు చేశారు.

రాష్ట్రంలో ఆహార భ‌ద్ర‌తా ప్ర‌మాణాల్ని మ‌రింత‌ పెంపొందించ‌డానికి భార‌త ఆహార భ‌ద్ర‌తా ప్ర‌మాణాల సంస్థ (Food Safety ands Standards Authority of India)తో ఆంధ్ర‌ప్ర‌దేశ్ ప్ర‌భుత్వం రూ.88.41 కోట్ల‌తో మంగ‌ళ‌వారం నాడు ఢిల్లీలో ఈ ఒప్పందాన్ని (MoU) కుదుర్చుకుంది. మంత్రి స‌త్య‌కుమార్ యాద‌వ్ స‌మ‌క్షంలో ఎఫ్ఎస్ఎస్ఎఐ చీఫ్ ఎగ్జిక్యూటివ్ ఆఫీస‌ర్ (CEO) జి.క‌మ‌ల‌వ‌ర్ధ‌న‌రావు, ఏపీ ఫుడ్ సేఫ్టీ క‌మీష‌న‌ర్ సి.హ‌రికిర‌ణ్‌, ఎఫ్ఎస్ఎస్ఎఐ ఎగ్జిక్యూటివ్ డైరెక్ట‌ర్ ఇనోషి శ‌ర్మ ఒప్పంద ప‌త్రాల‌పై సంత‌కాలు చేశారు.

ఇటీవల తిరుమలలో లడ్డూ కల్తీ నేపథ్యంలో ఆహార నాణ్యత టెస్టింగ్ ల్యాబ్‌లపై పెద్ద ఎత్తున చర్చ జరుగుతోంది. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వ కోరిక మేరకు ప్ర‌ధానంగా ఏపీలో ఆహార ప‌రీక్షల ప్ర‌యోగ‌శాల‌లు(Food Testing Laboratories) ఏర్పాటు చేసేందుకు ఎఫ్ఎస్ఎస్ఎఐ సుముఖ‌త వ్య‌క్తం చేసింది. రూ. 20 కోట్ల‌తో తిరుమ‌ల‌లోనూ, మ‌రో రూ.20 కోట్ల‌తో క‌ర్నూలులోనూ ఇంటిగ్రేటెడ్ ఫుడ్ ల్యాబ్‌ల‌ను నెల‌కొల్పేందుకు ఒప్పందం కుదిరింది. అలాగే ఏలూరు, ఒంగోలుల‌లో ప్రాథ‌మిక ఆహార ప‌రీక్ష‌ల ప్ర‌యోగ‌శాల‌ల్ని(Basic Food testing Laboratories) ఒక్కొక్క‌టి రూ. 7.5 కోట్ల‌తో మొత్తం రూ.13 కోట్ల‌తో నెల‌కొల్ప‌నున్నారు. రాష్ట్రంలో ఆహార శాంపిళ్ల‌ సేక‌ర‌ణ‌, విశ్లేష‌ణ‌(Collection and Analysis) కోసం రూ.12 కోట్లు, ఆహార భ‌ద్ర‌తా ప్ర‌మాణాల‌పై ప్ర‌జ‌ల్లో విస్తృత అవ‌గాహ‌న క‌ల్పించేందుకు రూ.11 కోట్లు కేటాయించేందుకు ఒప్పందం కుదిరింది.
